Project description: VA TVHS to be USP 800 compliant while also increasing the quality of USP 797 facilities and operations. In the current facility planning concept for the project, Human Resources (HR) is relocated, so the pharmacy can expand, enabling USP improvements. A space within the hospital will be renovated, for HR to relocate to their new space, then the previous HR space, adjacent to the pharmacy, will be renovated to provide the new USP 800 and USP 797 operations. The existing USP 797 space will remain operational until the new USP 800 and USP 797 space is commissioned and in service, then the existing USP 797 containment rooms will be converted for pharmacy operations.
