FORT McCOY DINING FACILITY

Project is a design/build construction of a new Reserve Component Dining Facility. It is designed to feed up to 1428 personnel in 3-30 minute feeding periods. The proposed 20,000+/- sf building will include: a dining area, a men's and a women's toilet room, a kitchen area, a mechanical room, an electrical room, a communications room, and an exterior storage space. Central air conditioning will be provided for the facility and the facility will have the capability to be winterized for shutdown. Physical security measures will be incorporated into the design including maximum feasible standoff distance from roads, parking areas, and vehicle unloading areas. Berms, heavy landscaping, and bollards will be used to prevent access when standoff distance cannot be maintained.
